Non-Obvious Experiences
A gathering designed to help people make new connections at industry events, hosted by Rohit Bhargava. It is technically 7 minutes, but people tend to stay, and connect.
Why The World Needs This
How can we all make real connections at networking events and conferences between badge scans and elevator pitches? After doing hundreds of keynotes and witnessing people hungry for real connections, Rohit created this unique 7 minute meetup as an add-on to his talks where learning to ask a simple question changes everything.
The Question: What’s one non-obvious thing about yourself?
From past meetups, attendees have found a new best friend, a podcasting partner, and some even started a romantic relationship.
Disclaimer: your relationship success (romantic or otherwise) may vary.
Easy to fit into any agenda. Best right before lunch or a happy hour.
Every attendee gets a pair, a fun reminder to stay open minded.
Everyone shares something non-obvious about themselves. The small talk disappears.
Scenes From Past Meetups

Host Your Own
The 7 Minute Meetup is designed as a bonus for events where Rohit is invited to be a speaker. There are no additional speaking fees to integrate it into your event, just a small fee to cover the cost of the glasses and for Rohit to host it.
The ideal timing is right before a lunch break, or before a happy hour at the end of a day of sessions. Your team provides the venue and logistics, we bring the format, the energy and the eyewear.
Glasses can also be co-branded with your event or company logo for a small additional fee, and a shipping estimate can be provided before you order.

Add An Experience To Your Event
The 7 Minute Meetup, the Rapid Fire Q&A and the rest of the family are designed as add-ons to Rohit’s keynote appearances. Invite him to speak, then pick the experience that fits your event.
