Study Examines the Ridiculousness of Spoiler Culture

How far should writers go to avoid spoilers? This is the question a new study examines, while looking at the growing ridiculousness with which we are policing the potential for spoilers in media. And perhaps most importantly, might this fear of accidentally encountering (or sharing) a spoiler keep people from discussing entertainment in the first place?
